As a Senior   MEMS Design Engineer at nEye.ai, you will be responsible for the design, simulation, and optimization of MEMS devices that are critical components of our optical circuit switches. This role involves both technical execution and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. You'll work closely with Silicon Photonics, Mechanical, and Process Engineers to ensure our MEMS structures are not only high-performing but also robust and reliable for high-volume manufacturing. Your expertise in multi-physics modeling will be key to optimizing our designs and solving complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• MEMS Design & Optimization :   Design and model MEMS structures, focusing on performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Multi-Physics Simulation :  Utilize multi-physics models (e.g., mechanical, electro-mechanical, fluid dynamics) to simulate device behavior and optimize designs.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving :  (1) Work with internal teams to understand failure mechanisms and design for low FIT (failures in time) rates.  (2) Troubleshoot fabrication issues and act as a liaison between the design team and foundry process engineers to resolve problems.
• Product Lifecycle :   (1) Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to high-volume manufacturing and qualification testing. (2) Design for Yield improvement
