Position Summary :

We are seeking a high energy and motivated Accounting Manager to join our Amkor Technology Arizona facility. The Accounting Manager will manage the monthly financial review and closing process, will work with various departments to analyze and properly account for the related transactions, will support internal and external financial reporting, will research and document accounting positions for new, unusual and / or infrequent accounting events as needed. This position will report to the Controller of Amkor Technology Arizona facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare and / or review journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet & income statement analytics and fluctuation explanation
• Prepare and / or review various reports related to the internal and external financial statements
• Oversight and ownership of assigned key processes and related controls
• Research and develop accounting positions for new, unusual and / or infrequent accounting events
• Review contracts and determine the appropriate accounting treatments based on US GAAP and company policies
• Support the development and implementation of internal controls, accounting policies and processes
• Lead elements of accounting, analysis and reporting related to other areas as assigned
• Provide timely analysis and reporting for crisp decision making to the Executive team
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, as needed, regarding compliance with SOX requirements
• Lead or participate in various ad-hoc analysis and special projects as assigned
• Identify and drive continuous process improvements for the accounting close process

This position will be based at the Arizona Tempe and Peoria sites during the Construction phase and will transition to Peoria for management during the Factory Operation phase.
