Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location : Peoria, IL Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $2,330 per week Shift Information : Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Oncology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : 1 year(s) License : Active state license required Certifications : BLS; ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Must-Have : Experience with IV chemotherapy & immunotherapy regimens. Experience with administration and handling precautions (PPE) for chemotherapy. Monitoring for side effects of medication. Description : The unit consists of 19 private beds. Staffing ratios are based on unit census with 1 : 6 on nights. Staff may also include charge nurses and house supervisors available 24 / 7. Patient Care Technicians are utilized, with 2-3 on duty based on census. RNs do not read or interpret telemetry strips. Bipap and CPAP management may be required based on patient needs. Chemical and medication adjustments must have physician orders. Self-scheduling is implemented, with schedules completed in a 6-week timeframe. Weekend and holiday requirements include working every other weekend and holiday. Traveling RNs will join the float rotation for additional support as needed. Epic Beacon is utilized for electronic medical record documentation. Common diagnoses include various types of cancer, hematology, and medical patients.
