Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Solutions Architect .

Description :

In the Solutions Architect role, you'll lead the design and evolution of the bank's enterprise technology ecosystem - driving innovation, scalability, and modernization across all business lines. This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned architect who can think strategically, execute pragmatically, and communicate effectively with executive leadership. You'll shape the architectural blueprint that supports our rapid growth, including M&A integrations, core modernization, and the transition toward cloud-native platforms - all within a secure, compliant, and customer-centric framework.

Responsibilities :

• Lead Enterprise Architecture Strategy : Define and own the enterprise architecture vision that aligns business goals, application design, data, and infrastructure.
• Drive Scalable Solutions : Architect end-to-end systems that can scale with organizational growth and regulatory complexity, ensuring performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
• Guide Mergers & Acquisitions Integration : Oversee architectural due diligence, integration strategies, and platform consolidation during acquisitions or core transitions.
• Partner with Executive Leadership : Serve as a strategic advisor to the CTO, CEO, and business heads - translating complex technology strategies into business outcomes.
• Accelerate Modernization : Champion modernization of legacy systems through cloud adoption, APIs, microservices, and data-driven architectures.
• Build and Lead a High-Impact Team : Lead a team of solution architects and technical strategists focused on innovation, collaboration, and architectural excellence.
• Ensure Governance and Alignment : Establish architecture standards, review processes, and technology roadmaps to drive consistency and long-term scalability.
