RN - OUTPATIENT (Albuquerque)

This full-time specialty RN position will support he UNMH Pediatric Hematology / Oncology team, working very closely with the hemophilia / thrombosis patient population in the Ted R. Montoya program. With the help of their team, this individual will plan and implement nursing care for patients with coagulation disorders in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. • PATIENT CENTERED MED - Adhere to and promote the core expectations of the Patient Centered Medical Home or Patient Centered Specialty Practice as applicable
• PATIENT CARE - Assist physician with special tests, procedures and complex treatments
• SUPPORT - Process data and generates reports;
• assist in the reception and discharge areas;

handle patient calls and triage using documentation

triage and initiate care for walk-in patients

set goals and utilize appropriate nursing actions to achieve goals

coordinate patient care in conjunction with procedures by other UH departments and clinics

maintain supply stock levels
