Medical Coder - Full Time (Remote)

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our team. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from home while supporting our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Location Requirement : Candidates must reside in one of the following states : Utah South Carolina Arizona Texas Kentucky Georgia Arkansas Idaho or Wyoming.

General Surgery experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately audit and code daily E / M visits .
• Review operative reports transcriptions and other documentation to extract necessary information.
• Assign correct CPT codes associated modifiers and ICD-10 codes to billing documents.
• Provide coding and billing education and feedback to providers.
• Research correct resubmit and appeal denied claims.
• Stay current on payer policies and procedures both standard and unique.
• Maintain a minimum 90% coding accuracy rate .
• Perform other duties as assigned.
