We're currently seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our Headquarters team!
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records through the preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of key accounts. This role is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and driving key reporting processes. This position plays a critical role in supporting the organization's financial health and operational efficiency.
What You Will Do :
Core Accounting Functions :
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to maintain accuracy and compliance identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, coordinating cross-functional efforts as needed.
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, fostering skill development and collaborative problem-solving.
Financial Analysis and Compliance :
Monitor and analyze accounting data to uncover trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.Conduct financial analysis, investigate variances, and resolve fluctuations in account balances.Prepare reports and provide documentation to support internal and external audits.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support :

How You Will Shine : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience required (4+ years).Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of general ledger functions and financial reporting.Working knowledge of financial systems and tools, including ERP platforms (e.g. NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, formulas, and spreadsheet management for financial analysis.Licenses / Certifications :
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Approach new challenges with a hands-on attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn and take on evolving responsibilities.Proficient in handling general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes.Working knowledge of GAAP, with the ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently.Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial data and documentation.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with internal teams, auditors, and external partners.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
