A growing, family-owned metal manufacturer in Mounds View, MN is looking to add an Entry-level Maintenance Mechanic to its maintenance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn industrial maintenance in a hands-on, supportive environment.

Location : Mounds View, MN

Pay : $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule :

  • Monday - Thursday : 6 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM
  • Friday : 4 hour shift

    • Responsibilities of the entry-level maintenance mechanic :

  • Assist with maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Help troubleshoot equipment issues with guidance from senior mechanics
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Support installation and upgrades of machinery
  • Keep basic maintenance records
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
  • Work closely with production and maintenance teams

    • Requirements of the entry-level maintenance mechanic :

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience in industrial maintenance is a plus
  • 1 year of maintenance experience or technical / vocational schooling
  • Basic hand and power tool knowledge
  • MIG welding experience is a plus, but not required
