Loan Processor - Green Brick Mortgage

Overview

Position Purpose : The Loan Processor must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. They must be H onest, O bjective, M ature and E fficient in how they approach their role at Green Brick Partners.

Green Brick Mortgage is looking for a detail-oriented Loan Processor to join our team in Plano, TX. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for preparing and organizing loan files, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and compliant with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify borrower information through third-party vendors.
• Collect and organize all necessary documentation from borrowers.
• Communicate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers to resolve any issues.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and closing.

Authority / Budget / Decision Making / Discretion and Independent Judgment Ability : Utilizes discretion, judgment, and high-level analytical skills to interpret complex situations.

Physical Requirements : Ability to stand and walk for 4 hours straight or up to a full 8-hour day; sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; walk up and down stairs; walk on unlevel terrain; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
