Position Overview
The Reference & Instructional Services Librarian teaches an advanced legal research course, collaborates with colleagues to provide legal research instruction in other areas of the curriculum, and provides legal research instruction and reference assistance to law students, law faculty, the Marquette community, the legal community, and members of the public. Law librarians also collaborate on reference policies, collection development, assessment, and other programs, service, and resources. Duties and Responsibilities Teach in the fall and spring semesters, including designing, developing, teaching, and assessing advanced legal research courses. In rotation with other law librarians, teach advanced legal research during the summer session. Support other areas of the curriculum through legal research instruction and outreach, including in collaboration with legal writing faculty in the first year Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research curriculum.Reference & Instructional Services Librarian & Adjunct Professor of Law (rank commensurate with experience) • Milwaukee, Wi, US
