Affirm’s Commercial Legal (Revenue) team is instrumental in building, scaling, and supporting the framework for global commercial transactions and GTM efforts. We focus on structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial and strategic partnerships involving a diverse range of financial and technology products and services while navigating a complex set of regulations. In this role, you will be a key advisor to affirm’s fast‑growing sales, partnerships, and merchant success teams.

What You’ll Do

• Structure, draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of global commercial agreements, including highly complex and novel agreements
• Collaborate with and provide strategic and legal advice to various cross‑functional teams, including but not limited to sales, product, finance, tax, customer ops, and risk
• Lead or participate in projects to improve internal processes and increase the efficiency and scalability of the Commercial Legal team
• Train and help educate internal business partners
• Manage and resolve legal issues that arise in existing domestic and international commercial relationships
• Support Commercial Legal efforts related to M&A integrations
• Build and improve templates for global revenue‑generating commercial agreements
• Build collaborative and effective working relationships with various teams in the U.S. and internationally

Pay Grade - M

Equity Grade - 6

Employees new to affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affim focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job‑related skills.

Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).

USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year : $180,000 - $230,000

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year : $160,000 - $210,000

Affimers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affim office.
