Supervisor, Employee Relations Highlights

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Remote position with 30% travel required
This position is a direct hire.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of Employee Relations (ER) Partners, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
Drive the execution of the ER strategy for Texas Oncology, ensuring consistency in philosophy, practices, tools, and templates.
Serve as a leadership ER expert, resolving complex and high-priority ER issues and partnering closely with legal counsel.
Oversee daily ER operations including case assignment, prioritization, escalation protocols, and policy application.
Maintain an active caseload, conduct investigations, document findings, and ensure compliant resolution and closure of cases.
Oversee ER data integrity and reporting in Workday and EthicsPoint / Navex; identify trends and provide insights to leadership.
Manage employee hotline reports, ensuring timely investigation and resolution in collaboration with legal counsel.
Lead involuntary termination review processes, ensuring proper documentation, HR consultation, and legal escalation as needed.
Design and deliver ER training to HR and leadership teams on investigations, discipline, and performance coaching.
Partner with HR and Practice Leadership to address performance issues and guide development and implementation of PIPs.
Maintain strong working knowledge of employment laws; ensure ER practices are compliant and risk-mitigated.
Maintain ER metrics and reporting as directed by the Employee Relations Manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of Human Resources experience, including 3–5 years in Employee Relations
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Healthcare industry experience preferred
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Strong employment law knowledge and ER best practices expertise
Proficient in ER investigations, documentation, risk mitigation
Experience with ER data systems such as Workday and EthicsPoint
Strong leadership, consulting, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong emotional intelligence
Ability to influence in a matrixed healthcare environment
Strong prioritization, problem-solving abilities, and composure under pressure
Must be a credible activist, strategic thinker, and committed to continuous improvement
Travel requirement : 30%–50% as needed
Work environments may include office, clinical practice, and travel settings
Must be able to meet standard office and travel physical requirements
