BI Developer

Hobby Lobby is searching for a talented, innovative, and driven BI Developer with a minimum 2 years of experience in completing Business Intelligence design and development projects.

Primary Functions / Job Description

• Develop business intelligence solutions to satisfy immediate and long-term priorities with solutions ranging from traditional reporting to more modern, interactive reporting solutions.
• Work on business intelligence projects in coordination with multiple team members with different abilities and skills.
• Work directly with business leaders to get beyond the initial “ask” to understand the underlying business needs, critical path, and timeline surrounding key goals.
• Communicate effectively with business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to implement analytical solutions in coordination with custom application development.
• Utilize Kimball's methodology to implement data models to support static reports, interactive reports, and self-service analysis.
• Effectively use SQL development skills, SSRS reports, SSAS Tabular Models, and Power BI Visuals to implement business intelligence solutions.
