Merchandising Project Specialist

Description

This position works within the Merchandising Department. Primarily responsible for helping to maintain and update the ERP product database of 50000 products and maintaining vendor information. This role also oversees the creation and maintenance of products product kits and special product setups; resolves system and product issues as they arise. They actively support management and staff via problem solving training and company support.

Duties and Responsibilities to include :

• Spearheads and manages special projects as assigned by the Department Manager.
• Participates in special projects as needed / assigned by company leadership
• Oversees item quantity adjustments : supports other staff in adjustment needs
• Assists in training other Merchandising Specialists in the below job duties.
• Maintains / updates product information : new product entry pricing updates part numbers descriptions settings ordering controls etc.
• Organizes creates establishes and maintains : product product kits and special product setups.
• Problem solving : products system issues kits etc.
• Assists in organizing department organizational files : product / vendor reports procedures matrixes etc.
• Supports Department Manager in developing set-up and training for product processing through the system.
• Other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support of company mission values and goals.
