Position Overview

S enior Accountant , while reporting to the Accounting Manager, is responsible for supporting the Company’s global financial consolidation and financial statement preparation processes and supporting various forms of daily, weekly, monthly financial metrics, reporting and analysis for the global ~$250M business. www.kovalus.com

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general ledger reconciliations and support preparation of monthly financial statements including Management Reporting Package, Bank Reporting, Investor and Senior Management Reporting and other analysis of financial results.
• Lead or support preparation of KPI’s, various daily / weekly / monthly operational dashboards, other reporting and analysis tools to enhance timely business decision making by senior management & functional leaders across all locations.
• Responsible for various aspects of VAT reporting.
• Support technical application of accurate revenue recognition (ASC-606)
• Work directly with various global site accounting and operational teams to complete financial close process in a timely manner, while also fulfilling accounting and finance support needs globally on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Support treasury activities, reporting and analysis as needed on a daily / weekly basis.
• Support external independent audit of Company’s financial statements.
• Update / maintain accounting policies & procedures, support strong internal controls & consistent quality of financial results.
