Salary : Up to $22 / hour

Accounts Payable Clerk

Honolulu, HI

  • Full-Time (Mon-Fri)
  • Up to $22 / hour
  • Parking Provided

Join one of Hawaii's largest locally owned general contractors and support project accounting across landmark builds on Oahu. This role processes high-volume AP with exposure to three-way match, certified payroll, prevailing wage / government compliance , and vendor / subcontractor management.

    • What you'll do

  • Process and verify high-volume vendor & subcontractor invoices with three-way match (PO / receiver / invoice)
  • Coordinate with project managers, site admins, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment holds
  • Assist with weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, wires); prep lien waivers , collect W-9s, maintain vendor compliance docs
  • Maintain organized electronic & physical files ; support month-end accruals and AP aging clean-up
  • Help with certified payroll documentation and prevailing wage support (as assigned)

    • What you bring

  • 2+ years of AP or bookkeeping experience (construction or multi-entity high-volume a plus)
  • Accuracy under deadlines; strong organization and follow-through
  • Working knowledge of Excel and AP workflows; experience with CMiC, Viewpoint / Vista, Spectrum, Sage 100 / 300, or Procore is a plus
  • Comfortable communicating with field and office teams; service-oriented approach with vendors
