Davey Tree is looking for a highly motivated individual to work both independently and as a team to support our Biochar division in equipment operation.

Job Duties

  • Including but not limited to the operation of front-end loaders, Skid loaders, horizontal grinders and biochar manufacturing equipment (training provided)
  • Perform basic daily maintenance on equipment (training provided)
  • Perform basic repairs as applicable on equipment (training provided)
  • Daily record keeping and data collection.
  • Maintain clean facility.
  • Assist with coordination and logistics of inbound and outbound materials.
  • Transportation with Class A semi of biomass and finished products.
  • Provide unmatched customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self motivated
  • Basic computer skills is preferred
  • Industry experience in heavy equipment and semi driving operations desired but not required.
  • Obtain a Class A Drivers license with no restrictions within 1 year of employment (training provided)
  • Mechanical and electrical experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in all inclement types of weather.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and weekends if needed.
  • Able to work on call.
