Agriculture Equipment Service Manager

A leading New Holland, JCB, Kubota agricultural equipment dealership is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Service Manager to lead our service department. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, profitable, and high-quality operation of all service activities, driving customer satisfaction, and maintaining strong team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Service Operations: Oversee the daily scheduling, work assignments, and efficiency of all service technicians, ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time, meeting dealership profitability goals.

• Customer Relations: Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing service-related inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and clearly communicating repair status and estimated costs.

• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate service department personnel, fostering a productive and positive work environment focused on technical excellence and safety.

• Warranty and Administration: Manage all service-related paperwork, including warranty claims, work orders, invoices, and service records, ensuring compliance with all Manufacturer policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Service Manager or supervisory role within an agricultural dealership environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong mechanical aptitude and deep working knowledge of New Holland or Case agricultural and/or construction equipment, including diagnostic tools and repair procedures.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and management.

• Certifications/Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a technical degree or relevant certifications (e.g., New Holland or Case factory training) is highly preferred.
