General Purpose
Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their assessment, care plan, and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and diningMeasure and record vital signs (TPR), weights, and intake / output as instructedRespond promptly to call lights and ensure residents unable to call for help are checked frequentlyObserve and report changes in condition, skin breakdown, or unusual findings to the Charge NursePerform care procedures only as trained and within scopeMaintain resident rooms, belongings, and equipment in clean, orderly conditionAssist with admission, transfer, and discharge processesProvide restorative and rehabilitative support as directedEnsure confidentiality of resident information and follow all facility policies regarding infection control and safetyReport accidents, incidents, concerns, and potential violations immediatelyCreate a warm, positive, and respectful environment for residents, families, and coworkersQualifications
Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationCPR preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectivelyMust be able to lift / move up to 25 lbs and assist in resident transfers / mobilityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion and professionalismWork Environment
