Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager to join our team in Redmond, Washington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of Device Hardware and Accessories projects, ensuring timely decision-making, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex programs.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, scaling communications to the appropriate audience for effective decision-making.
- Emphasize speed of decision-making within product development cycles and manage critical issues through optimized prioritization of resources and personnel.
- Collaborate with overseas internal and external teams on product development.
- Scale and evolve key processes and design review checkpoint mechanisms to enable responsible last-minute decision-making on one-way and two-way door decisions.
- Manage and communicate product development critical issues, execute solutions meeting key product KPIs, and escalate as required when consensus cannot be reached.
- Collaborate daily onsite with the hardware development team, including Product Design, Industrial Design, Electrical, and Antenna teams.
- Create agendas and presentations for weekly meetings at the Director and VP level to ensure timely decisions, maintain project timelines, finances, requirements, and deliverables.
Qualifications :
3+ years of technical product or program management experience.2+ years of software development experience.3+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.Preferred : 3+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.Preferred : Experience in O2C, UAT, supply chain, and program management within high-tech industries.Preferred : Experience working with Amazon or similar organizations.About PTR Global : PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
