Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of their medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons on patient-specific surgical strategies and treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, devising discharge plans, and providing patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for candidates with surgical rotation experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
