Job Title : Accounting Manager

Location : North Side, Indianapolis, IN

Employment Type : Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary : $120,000 to $140,000 depending on experience

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team on the north side of Indianapolis. This position is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing a team of accounting professionals, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.

• Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback.

Accounting Operations :

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Compliance and Auditing :

Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets and forecasts.

Process Improvement :

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications : Education :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).

Experience :

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
