As a Security Officer - Part-Time Harbor Patrol Driver in Dana Point, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. In this primarily driving post, you will monitor and patrol the property, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all visitors and tenants. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while on patrol.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
