What We’re Looking For :
Sante is seeking a Part-Time Urgent Care Therapist to join the Baltimore County Crisis Response System management team. The Urgent Care Therapist will be responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations for clients in the Urgent Care Center.
What You’ll Do :
- Independently complete a mental health diagnostic assessment with client
- Assess for safety, engage client in safety planning if necessary
- Knowledge of Emergency Petition process and ability to complete EP when necessary
- Complete clinical documentation in an accurate, thorough and timely manner
- Develops appropriate follow up tasks for client depending on nature and severity of client symptoms
- Work with clients from a culturally competent perspective
- Communicate effectively about client needs in effort to refer to appropriate services (internal and external) based on client needs
- Effectively utilize crisis intervention skills when necessary
- Identify need for medical, substance abuse treatment and any other adjunct therapies and make appropriate referrals
- Has adequate knowledge of community resources and provides appropriate referrals to clients both mental health and non-mental health
- Demonstrate the capacity to work with a wide range of clients; child and adolescent, adult, dual diagnosis and geriatric
- Participate in all required trainings
- Comply with all federal, state and local confidentiality regulations
- Comply with all mandatory reporting
- Check work e-mail according to agency protocol
What We Require :
Must possess and maintain current licensure in the State of Maryland (LCSW-C / LCPC)Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of studyExperience working in a medical environment is preferredWhat You’ll Get :
