A Hematology / Oncology Physician locum position is available in Burlington, VT, from August 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. The role requires oversight of patient management for oncology and hematology, including infusion services and daily hospital rounds, with a focus on both new and follow-up visits for approximately 50 patients per week. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible, hold a valid PA State License, and be BLS certified, with flexible 8-hour shifts and competitive compensation of $500 per hour.

Hematology Oncology Locum position in Burlington, VT where Scheduled Clinic Hours and Hospital Rounding / consults coverage paying $500 hourly is needed. Here are some of the details :

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : Must meet ALL submission requirements in order to submit!

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology / Oncology - REQUIRED
  • PA State License : REQUIRED
  • BLS Certified - REQUIRED
  • Must be available full-time : REQUIRED
  • Clean Malpractice Background : PREFERRED
  • Certifications : BLS : REQUIRED
  • Supervision of APP s : REQUIRED

    • Practice Description :

  • Provide evaluation and management of oncology and hematology patients with diverse set of diagnoses.
  • Includes oversight of infusion services.
  • Hospital rounds / consults to be completed daily on the assigned weeks

  • Procedures required / preferred to perform : None
  • Patient Load : Combination of new patient and follow up visits- around 50 patients per week
  • There are additional surgical and support staff.
  • There are Mid-levels and the locum provider will not be responsible for them.
