Emergency Medicine Technician

This is an opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Technician based in Fargo, ND. The role involves working with a team focused on workplace health and safety.

About the Opportunity:

• Hybrid or Remote: On-site
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday
• Hours: 7:30 am-6 pm
• Setting: Occupational Health

Responsibilities:

The Emergency Medicine Technician will be responsible for:

• Providing first aid support and referring to outside medical providers
• Minimizing employee risk of injury through awareness and education
• Maintaining records of care provided to employees
• Coordinating workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
• Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certification as EMT or Paramedic, military experience, or active Athletic Trainer Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of OSHA regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations

Desired Skills:

• Preferred certifications to teach first aid, CPR, and AED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with industrial wellness programs
• Knowledge of ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorder management
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations
