Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. Our team is looking for a Production Cell Leader to join them. You will report to the Sr. Operations Manager MRO and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, Ca.

To be considered for the Production Cell Leader opening,here’s what you’ll need to bring with you :

High School Diploma / GED

Minimum 5 years of experience in an aerospace MRO environment with focus on mechanical, electro-mechanical and / or electronic LRUs.

Be appropriately certificated as mechanic or repairman under part 65 of Title 14

Minimum of 18 months of practical experience in the work being performed or be trained to perform the maintenance, preventative maintenance or alterations

As a Production Cell Leader you will :

Lead a team of technicians responsible for providing quality products and services.

Help develop, refine, and execute shop floor processes and product-related functions and supervise all functions of one or more MRO production cells.

Ensure compliance with internal, external and regulatory requirements

Meet or exceed KPI metrics

Plan, organize, direct and execute all production activities within assigned cell(s)

Assigns and prioritizes workflow

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, always maintain 6S standards

Hold daily performance feedback dialogue with team members

Identify, develop and conduct training as needed
