SUMMARY

To perform technical or professional tasks to support and improve the overarching goals of the department through experience and skill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult or technical in nature- topics may cover metallic and nonmetallic recycling, batteries, and circular economy.
• Uses established procedures.
• Creating projects data base with specified tools.
• Basic accounting tasks such as preparing quotations and POs, understanding of A / R and A / P, invoicing, others.
• Basic supply chain management such as engagement with customers and suppliers.
• Engagements may include topics related to logistics, sales, customer claims, others.
• May travel to customer or supplier locations.
• Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory related activities to safely import and / or export any commodities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIE S

May train employees but does not supervise other employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

EXPERIENCE

3 - 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

Must have proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to perform basic Internet research. Project management tools such as Notion, Roam Research, Power Bi, or similar software is also preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to fluently speak, write and read in English and Japanese. Ability to read, write legibly and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English and Japanese. Communication may include domestic suppliers and customers or Japanese suppliers and customers.
