About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Product and Engineering to spearhead the development of a next-generation network security platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for both product implementation and engineering execution, leading the way in creating a category-defining platform. This pivotal role demands a combination of product leadership and deep technical oversight, with a focus on executing the product roadmap, translating customer needs into technical requirements, and building the engineering organization to deliver on these goals. The VP will also be the technical co-pilot for the product, leading architecture and execution across distributed systems, high-performance networking, and AI-driven security. Key responsibilities for the VP of Product and Engineering include strategic technical leadership, execution and delivery, team building and culture, and innovation in IP. The role requires a proven leader with over 10 years' experience in product and / or engineering leadership, a strong background in cybersecurity, networking, distributed systems, cryptography, high-speed packet processing, or protocol design, and a startup DNA that is comfortable in an early-stage environment. The ideal candidate will have a builder's mindset, be a strong communicator and partner, and be adept at anticipating technology trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
