Staff Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to streamline accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely execution. You will own key pieces of the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Building strong relationships with vendors and customers is essential in this role. You will maintain and update fixed asset schedules, assist with audit preparation, and provide financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Your efforts will drive continuous improvement through automation and workflow optimization. This role offers exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams through special projects.

Work Environment :

The role is fully on-site, working within a team that includes the VP of Finance, Cost Accountant, and Assistant Controller. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday for 9 hours, with every other Friday off, and on working Fridays, the shift is 8 hours (980 schedule). Shifts typically start between 7 : 30 am and 8 : 30 am. The accounting team is located on the top floor of the company headquarters, which will be renovated to a more modern aesthetic later this year.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, FL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.55 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
