Cnc Operator

What You'll Do :
Operate CNC machines, mills, and robots to produce high-quality parts.
Perform tool and insert changes, offsets, and adjustments.
Read blueprints and ensure parts meet exact specifications.
Monitor machine performance and keep your work area spotless.
Handle basic CNC maintenance and collaborate with supervisors and programmers to solve challenges.
What We're Looking For :
Hands-on CNC experience (changing inserts, touching off tools, making offsets).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Familiarity with horizontal lathe or mill setup.
Skilled with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Experience with Okuma, Nakamura, Fanuc Robodrills, and robots like Universal and Fanuc.
Independent, detail-oriented, and efficient.

Job Type & Location :
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
