• Experience with family care clinic, internal medicine, and urgent care
• Proficient in assessment, interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and obtaining vital signs
• Skills in dressing change, aseptic / sterile procedure trays setup, specimen collection, and phone triage

Description :

We are seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse for a General Surgery Clinic.

The nurse will provide support for general surgery patients, including oncology and endocrine cases.

Duties involve assessing patients, interpreting laboratory results, and conducting medication reconciliations.

The role also includes obtaining vital signs and proficiency in dressing changes and specimen collection.

Special procedures may involve excision support to the surgeon, wound care, and biopsies.

Candidate must be comfortable with telephonic patient follow-ups and medication refill requests.

The position requires a flexible approach to patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment.

Compliance documents will be required prior to the start of the assignment.

Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility will not be accepted.
