We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician for Computer Hardware who specializes in the repair and installation of laptops and desktops. If you have hands-on experience with computer hardware and a passion for technology, this position is ideal for you!
Job Details :
- Contract-based position paying per completed service call.
- Initial compensation begins at $35 per service call, with extra pay for travel distance.
- Payments are processed every Friday following your first week of work.
- Service calls are scheduled Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Candidates must be available at least 3 weekdays a week.
- Typical daily workload ranges from 2 to 5 calls.
- You will receive free online certifications from Dell and Lenovo during onboarding.
- A reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver's license are necessary for travel to various job sites.
- Daily internet access and a computer are required to log into your service portal each day.
- It is essential to log into your tech portal by 9 am daily to organize your service routes.
- The manufacturer will provide pre-troubleshot issues and ship necessary parts prior to your ticket assignments.
- You will confirm service appointments directly with customers through your portal while visiting both residential and commercial locations.
- Prepare to collect parts daily from your local FedEx or UPS location before attending your scheduled onsite visits. You will also need to return old parts using provided prepaid shipping labels at the end of each day.
Qualifications
Proven hands-on experience in replacing components of laptops and desktops is critical.A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a must.Willingness to travel locally on a daily basis is essential.Additional Information
