The SMT PROGRAMMER is responsible for programming and troubleshooting all pieces of equipment of an SMT (surface mount technology) assembly line to ensure that all customer specifications / requirements are met.

PROGRAMMER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

• Programming of various equipment : SMT Pick & Place (ASM), GKG / ASM Printer, Koh-young SPI, Koh-Young AOI, X-RAY inspection, Universal Fuzion XC PTH Inserter and related Through Hole prep equipment, and inspection equipment
• SMT first piece run and program debug, including programming, screen print stencil development, paste inspect, SMT placement, reflow, and equipment / material qualifications
• THT first piece run and process development / programming through hand-load, and wave / selective solder
• Co-ordinate with planning on daily basis and execute job optimization in Si-place explorer for optimal machine set-up and programming sequences for maximum efficiency
• Act as a technical resource for daily manufacturing execution by promptly responding to line-machine requests from A-Techs, providing solutions or engaging external resources for additional support
• Actively participate in associated new project's PFMEAs and New Product Introduction
