Join our closed-door pharmacy team as a Staff Pharmacist. Work in collaboration with the Pharmacist-in-Charge to execute day-to-day operational needs, including performing specified pharmaceutical and leadership functions as they relate to the safe and effective administration and delivery of medication to Clarest Health customers.
Location : On site at our closed-door pharmacy (9006 Yellow Brick Road, Rosedale MD, 21237)
Salary : $110,000 - $120,000 annually (depending on experience)
Schedule : Monday - Friday 2 : 30 pm-11 : 00 pm; rotating weekends
Report To : Director of Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for the understanding and working knowledge of the pharmacy computer systems, including, but not limited to Framework, DocuTrack, CIM, Noritsu, MTS and Automated Dispensing Systems as it pertains to order entry, dispensing, Pharmacist Verification (PV1 / PV2) functions, problem solving, quality and clinical review to ensure accurate, timely prescription / order processing and dispensing.Enter orders and patient data into Framework accurately and efficiently.Supervise technicians to ensure accurate and appropriate data is entered into Framework and DocuTrack.Receive and transcribe verbal orders from prescribers.Perform pharmacist verification (PV1) of Orders including a clinical and regulatory review of orders.Clarify orders with facility staff which may include outreach to prescribers.Perform additional screenings or verification as required by regulations for controlled substance prescriptions.Assist with medication packaging / labeling as needed.Perform pharmacist verification (PV2) on orders.Verify Automated Dispensing Packaging per protocol.Evaluate and monitor drug therapy.Ensure any required audits are performed daily (i.e., automated dispensing audits).Ensure appropriate review, process and documentation of REMS drugs.Supervise and assist with the preparation and delivery of all medications in the pharmacy.Provide consultations and answer clinical or operational questions from customers.The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications :
Degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferredRegistered with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and in good standing.Minimum of one (1) year recent experience in an acute-care setting or two (2) years' experience as a pharmacist preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills with English as the primary language.Ability to work independently as well as working in a team environment meets deadlines, establish priorities, and be flexible, work under pressure with multiple tasks. Must have strong organizational, customer service, and time management skills, ability to problem solve.Skills + Abilities :
Proficiency in pharmacy systems and automated dispensing technologies.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, labeling, and documentation.In-depth clinical knowledge of pharmacology and drug therapy management.Understanding of federal and state pharmacy regulations, including REMS and controlled substances.Experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding with proper documentation and labeling.Effective leadership and supervision skills for managing pharmacy technicians.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Strong customer service orientation and ability to provide clinical consultations.Ability to manage inventory and perform audits with precision.Commitment to maintaining security and compliance in all pharmacy operations.Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external clients.Clarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
