Registered Nurse - CardioVascular - PRN

Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our CardioVascular team on a PRN basis. As a competent nurse with experience in a clinical environment, you will provide both routine and complex care to patients. You will work independently and be responsible for making informed decisions on long-range goals and plans for patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate leadership qualities according to the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process, including thorough assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for your assigned patients.
• Address comprehensive psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers based on assessed learning needs to ensure understanding of health conditions and treatments.

All new hires must attend the New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire and complete necessary preceptorship and competency validations for their roles. Experience levels will be considered for credential grace periods.
