We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy . As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients ensuring their recovery and well-being.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals within the scope of occupational therapy practice.
- Evaluate physician referrals and thoroughly review patients medical records to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions based on the patients condition functional abilities and treatment objectives.
- Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy protocols ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
- Document assessment findings treatment progress and instructions provided to patients and their caregivers accurately and comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals based on the initial evaluation findings collaborating closely with patients and their interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs incorporating therapeutic activities adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance patients functional independence and quality of life.
- Maintain effective communication with patients caregivers and interdisciplinary team members including physicians and insurance providers to coordinate care address concerns and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation including progress notes treatment summaries discharge plans and incident reports to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for services rendered.
Qualifications :
Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
