A leading global financial institution is seeking an Associate Director, Legal Counsel. This role is ideal for a mid-level attorney eager to move in-house and gain broad exposure across trading, regulation, and structured documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise business teams on legal and regulatory issues tied to derivatives and prime services.
  • Draft and negotiate ISDAs, PBAs, MCAs, and related documentation.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and manage legal risk.
  • Partner cross-functionally on new products and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • J.D. and active license to practice in the U.S.
  • 3–6 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with equity derivatives and synthetic prime brokerage .
  • Strong understanding of ISDA terms, collateral, and netting provisions.
