Location : Tucson AZ Arizona State Veteran Home

Schedule : 12-hour shifts (6 : 00am6 : 30pm)

Work Hours : Week 1 36 hrs Week 2 48 hrs (Block schedule)

Must be available to work weekends

Pay 63.00 hour / Weekly Pay

Job Summary :

The Floor RN provides skilled geriatric nursing care ensuring a safe therapeutic and hygienic environment for residents. This role involves direct patient care staff supervision and coordination of resident care plans. The RN may serve as charge nurse overseeing all licensed and unlicensed staff on the unit.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice

Conduct and document resident assessments care plans and progress notes

Communicate effectively with residents families and interdisciplinary staff

Supervise and train CNAs and other staff; assist with ADLs as needed

Participate in shift reports staff meetings and in-service training

Support continuous improvement using AMS methods and tools

Qualifications & Requirements :

Active RN License (AZ or Compact State)

Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

CPR / BLS certification

TB test (current)

7-year background check (OIG / SAM included)
