Senior Database Engineer I - MySQL, Blizzard | Irvine, CA

Responsibilities :

• Database Administration : Manage MySQL database installation, configuration, monitoring, alerting, and backups.
• System Administration and Automation : Perform routine tasks on our database infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Database Performance : Assist development teams with performance issues ranging from indexes to query tuning to database / OS configuration and network troubleshooting.
• Cloud Integration : Assist in deploying and managing databases in Azure, GCP, and Alibaba.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and development teams to support business needs.
