About The Position

Experience working with various physicians, radiologists, and patients

Description :

The unit consists of 24 beds with a staff of 14.

The team includes radiologists, radiologist techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs.

Day shift is supported by a director, a radiologist, and 6-7 techs.

Night shift includes a charge RN and an on-call team of 3-4 techs, varying based on volume.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 depending on patient stability.

The equipment used is entirely GE, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy.

The electronic medical record system is Meditech.

Call requirements are 4-6 shifts a month on off days.

Typical procedures performed include CT scans, MRI, body scans, and x-rays.

The role involves creating images of bones, organs, and tissues to provide accurate assessments.

The preferred personality fit includes strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The dress code requires black scrubs, which must be provided by the employee.

The facility is a 472-bed acute care medical / surgical facility with a diverse range of specialized services.

It also has a teaching component and ranks among the best in the nation.

This position is a contractor replacement.
