MOLD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY :

TH Plastics Inc. a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Bowling Green Ohio Molding Division.

JOB OVERVIEW :

Responsible for maintaining any tools with preventative maintenance and repair. Provide a support function for manufacturing and maintenance.

WORK SCHEDULE : nd

Shift 2 : 30PM 10 : 50PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Journeyman level machinist or mold technician equivalent experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must be self-motivated work well independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Injection Molding is a plus
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team

    • JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Effectively be able to perform general and major mold maintenance.
  • Confirm that the completion of mold storage and requirements have been met and maintained.
  • Complete preventative maintenance on molds and documentation of the PM.
  • Effectively work with metal and non-metals.
  • Interpret blue prints schematics and symbols.
  • Understand basic mechanics lubricants bearing pumps and power transmission equipment.
