About The Position

Earn premium locum rates while working in a supportive inpatient psychiatric setting along Michigan’s scenic lakeshore! Starting January 2026, this full-time position offers meaningful work, strong team collaboration, and full travel + lodging coverage.

📍  Location :  Muskegon, Michigan

Start Date :  Sporadic coverage in 2025 → Full-time beginning  January 2026

Pay Rate :   $240 / hour

Malpractice :  Fully covered

Travel & Lodging :  Complimentary flights, rental car, mileage, and hotel

🗓️  Schedule & Call :

Weekdays :  Monday–Friday | 8 AM–5 PM

Call :  One weekday evening per week (5p–8a), plus  1 : 4 weekend call  (starting Jan 2026)

Unrestricted call preferred

🏥  Position Overview :

Setting :  Inpatient psychiatry (27-bed unit)

Patient Census :  ~12 patients / day

Team :  5 Psychiatrists | 6 Psychiatric NPs

EMR :  EPIC

Supervision :  Yes – supervising Psychiatric NPs

Referral Sources :  Primarily Muskegon & Grand Rapids EDs

Support :  24 / 7 security, staff duress system

Board Certified in Psychiatry

Active Michigan License  or  IMLC

BLS Certification
