Join Oracle's Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Team, dedicated to securing our extensive datacenter and facility operations through state-of-the-art Physical Access and Identity Management (PIAM) technologies. We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager specializing in Video Management Systems (VMS).
In this vital role, you will lead the strategic vision, roadmap, and comprehensive lifecycle management for Oracle's global VMS portfolio. Your efforts will ensure that all video technologies deployed at our hyperscale OCI sites are robust, secure, scalable, and fully aligned with evolving business, security, and regulatory requirements.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will foster cross-functional collaboration to seamlessly integrate emerging video technologies, streamline operations, and enhance compliance with global privacy and security standards.
Responsibilities
Define and execute global strategies for VMS planning, deployment, upgrades, and technical innovation.
Standardize policies and processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective lifecycle management for all VMS assets.
Address escalated technical and operational challenges, implementing sustainable improvements through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities :
Create and implement a comprehensive multi-year roadmap for Video Management Systems to align with Oracle's security and compliance objectives.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives, making sure that video platforms adapt reliably to business demands and technological advancements.
Explore, implement, and deploy automation tools to enhance event monitoring, video retention, export, incident management, reporting, and compliance tasks.
Manage vendor relationships by overseeing contracts, SLAs, performance evaluations, and technology selection processes.
Uphold the highest standards of privacy and legal compliance for VMS platforms and operations globally.
Lead the documentation, training, and communication related to VMS processes, standards, and incident response strategies.
Analyze performance data from video systems, identify risks, and drive continuous improvements focused on reliability, cost-efficiency, and security.
Act as the primary escalation point for VMS incidents, privacy inquiries, and cross-team challenges.
Key Skills and Requirements :
BA / BS degree in Engineering, IT, Security, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise VMS platforms (e.g., Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Axis) with a focus on design, deployment, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with Milestone is essential.
Expertise in integrating video solutions into physical security and SOC / SIEM platforms, utilizing modern API and cloud architectures.
Thorough understanding of global privacy, security, and compliance regulations affecting video surveillance systems (GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001) with experience in audit preparedness.
Ability to implement automation for video system monitoring, alerting, retention management, and incident response through scripting, RPA, or orchestration tools.
Experience in managing technical vendors, negotiating contracts, and enhancing performance standards.
Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and leadership skills in a dynamic, distributed setting.
Exceptional documentation, training, and communication abilities at all organizational levels.
