Position Details :

Respiratory Therapist- Albany, GA

Location : Albany, GA 31701

Shift : Day Shift (Start time : 6 : 45 AM; clock-in window : 6 : 38–6 : 46 AM)

Type : Permanent Full-Time

Relocation Bonus : Case-by-case basis

Weekend Schedule : M–Th or F–Sun team rotation

Holidays : Rotated with permanent staff (every other holiday expected)

Scrub Color : Ceil blue (ceil blue jacket only)

Role / Responsibilities :

  • Duties Include :
  • Nebs, airway management, vapotherm, BiPAP, CPAP, vents
  • ABG collection, bedside PFTs, CPT
  • ICU : A-line placement, blood gas management, intubation, bronchs
  • Common Diagnoses : COPD, CHF, pneumonia, respiratory failure, ARDS, cancers
  • Ventilators Used : Servo U & I models
  • Charge RT Role : Yes – includes Charge and Clinical Coordinator responsibilities

Qualifications :

  • RRT Certification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • NRP (if working in NICU)
  • GA State License

    • Minimum 1 year experience for floor therapists

  • Minimum 2 years for critical care
  • Must be confident in adult ICU, vent management, ABG interpretation, and making clinical suggestions.
