About your team / Ko te tīma
The Strategy Implementation group is a small group with a broad skillset focused on supporting the organisation to embed the strategy and transition to the key shifts required. The group also leads WorkSafe's Health and Safety Reforms programme.
The group provides the systems and processes needed to implement, embed, and monitor WorkSafe's strategy and functional model.
We will also be looking to the future and positioning WorkSafe to build on the successes of the past, by navigating how we mature as an effective and trusted regulator under our strategy and functional model.
Our team comprises programme leads, delivery leads, business analysts and change management people. The team work closely with subject matter experts in our delivery functions and across supporting teams. We work in a fast-paced hybrid-Agile environment with a focus on transparency, collaboration and hard work.
About the role / Ō te tūranga
You will be an integral part of the programme team, providing process development and business analysis to the future guidance sub programme and also provide support to other sub programmes such as feedback systems.
The guidance sub-programme is designing how WorkSafe delivers its future approach to providing guidance to make it easier for businesses and workers to improve their health and safety. The feedback systems sub programme will enable WorkSafe to deliver a consistent approach to receiving and managing different forms of contact and feedback such as notifications and enquires and create systems to ensure we learn and adapt from the feedback we receive.
We are looking for someone is agile and the business analyst role will also provide overall business analysis support for the programme to assist in the progress of the business process architecture.
This opporutnity is for 12 months fixed term through to April 2027.

Salary range / Awhe utu
As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $95,949 to $125,524 and and our expected starting base salary for the right person is from $95,949 to $105,807. Note : KiwiSaver / SSRSS employer contribution is additional to / on top of your base salary. From 1 April 2026 our KiwiSaver employer contribution will rise to 3.5%.
