Material Handler / Scanner Positions Available Now!

Pick and Pack / Material Handler Location : Modesto, CA Shift : Monday Friday, 6 : 00 AM 2 : 30 PM Duration : Temp

1. Scanner

Pay Rate : $19.70 / hour Job Summary : Responsible for accurately scanning and processing customer orders using an RF Scanner. This role involves light lifting, counting, and moving items to prepare orders for shipment.

Key Duties :

  • Operate an RF Scanner to pick and track items accurately.
  • Lift and handle items up to 25 lbs.
  • Verify product counts and locations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Ability to operate an RF Scanner efficiently.
  • Basic warehouse experience preferred.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

    • 2. Material Handler

    Pay Rate : $20.65 / hour Job Summary : Responsible for moving and handling materials within the warehouse using hand pallet jacks and other non-powered equipment. Performs heavier lifting and ensures materials are transported safely and efficiently.

    Key Duties :

  • Use hand pallet jacks to move pallets and load / unload items.
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow instructions and warehouse safety procedures.

    • Qualifications :

  • Basic warehouse experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.
  • Able to operate hand pallet jacks and follow safety protocols.

    • Work Environment for Both Roles :

  • Primarily indoors (90%), with occasional outdoor work (10%).
  • Active, standing, walking, lifting, and material handling required.
  • Safety precautions and equipment use as required.
