Special Education Teacher

Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan. This is a full-time, on-site position working with K8th grade students in a supportive school environment.

The teacher will provide services in resource settings, supporting students through a combination of pull-out and push-in instruction. The caseload is small, with approximately 10 students, allowing for more individualized support and meaningful progress.

Position Details:

• Location: Dearborn, Michigan

• Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site

• Student Population: Kindergarten through 8th Grade

• Service Model: Resource (Pull-Out / Push-In)

• Caseload: Approximately 10 students

• Starting Pay: $50 per hour

Requirements:

• Active Michigan Educator License with Special Education endorsement

• Experience working with K8 students in special education settings preferred

• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families

• Strong commitment to supporting student growth and success
