Job Skills / Requirements

The Operations Manager ensures the successful day-to-day execution of janitorial operations across multiple client sites by leading people maintaining quality and ensuring that every account meets ESS Cleans standards of service and safety. Working closely with the Branch Manager this role translates strategy into action building strong teams systems and client relationships that drive consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead coach and support Area Managers and Supervisors to achieve operational excellence.
• Utilize company technology to adequate coverage and efficient scheduling of all accounts.
• Partner with HR to recruit train and retain high-performing team members.
• Conduct ongoing performance discussions support employee development and uphold company values.

Operations & Quality Control

Client Service & Collaboration

Safety & Continuous Improvement

Schedule

Primarily 2nd shift with flexibility for occasional weekend or off-hour coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform all tasks associated with general cleaning including lifting up to 50 lbs. standing and walking frequently and bending or stooping as needed.
