Job Description:
Coaches and guides patients, families, groups of patients, and nursing professionals to advance care and professional development. Conducts thorough and systematic research, interpreting and using evidence in clinical practice and quality improvement. Participates in the application and conduct of research to contribute to the advancement of clinical knowledge. Identifies, articulates, and takes action on ethical concerns at various levels, including patient, family, healthcare provider, system, community, and public policy. Develops and implements processes and procedures to optimize workflow while meeting quality standards. Serves as a preceptor and mentor for new staff, developing training materials and providing guidance. Establishes and maintains standard operating procedures for clinical operations and research training. Participates in special projects to improve clinical research operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Leads and manages change, empowering others to influence clinical practice and political processes within and across systems. Collaborates with healthcare professionals to optimize clinical outcomes through authentic engagement and constructive problem-solving. Consults with patients, staff, and systems, utilizing specialized expertise to assist with problem-solving. Provides direct patient care, promoting health and well-being through advanced nursing management of health, illness, and disease states. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
